In November 2007, a special banquet was held at Carol's Red Apron hosted by members of the CASA Board of Directors honoring our volunteers for a year of hard work advocating for Grayson County's children.

Several awards were presented during the evening.  The Judge Lloyd Perkins Volunteer of the Year award was presented to Bertha Coffin.  Other awards presented include CASA Volunteer of the Year Award to Volunteer Jim Bowden, and a special humorous award was given to Volunteer Daniel Bucher and Casework Supervisor Susan Osborne.  Special Friend of CASA awards were given to The Smith Foundation.  This year a new award, the Judith A.
