National CASA
Established in 1977, National CASA was organized to help the judge receive facts to assist in making well-informed decisions affecting the future of children whose cases came before the court - decisions about where they would live, for how long, and under what conditions; what services and treatment would be ordered; and/or what steps should be taken to reunite the child with the birth parents or to place the child in a new family.
Texas CASA
Texas CASA was implemented in 1989 to offer support and services to the various CASA programs throughout Texas. It is the goal of Texas CASA to have a CASA Guardian ad Litem for every abused and neglected child in the court system, and to have a program in every county in the state.
